Urgent help needed. Late defence for PCN small claim.

Got my dates mixed up.
haven’t filed my defence within the time frame. Have logged on to MCOL - no default judgement listed there.
what should I do?
This PCN was given for overstaying in a retail park car park. It hasn’t been appealed or sent a letter of complaint.
If it’s still ok to lodge defence on MCOL I would appreciate some advice for paragraph 3 in my defence.
Thanks so much!!!!!

Get it copied and pasted, saved and submitted ASAP, before they pull the trigger on a default Judgment
Copy paragraph 3 from another recent UKPC via DCB legal defence
Submit all 10

@Gr1pr so cheeky I know. Could you please help me find that .. (for para 3). I’m so terrible at navigating this forum!
pretty please!!1 -
is chan and akande relevant for this POC or should i not include those paragraphs

No, because the breach is pleaded in the POC on the lower left of the claim form
Parked for longer than permitted !

thanks and submitted.
Can the judgement still be made given that this defence was filed late?1 -
Here’s what I went with for para 3 🫣
The defendant was not aware of said permitted amount of time or indeed overstaying permitted time. The defendant has no knowledge of the signs that supposedly form the contract. And therefore no knowledge of a breach of contract.2 -

Can the judgement still be made given that this defence was filed late? No, you are now safe!
Apart from doing your N180 (see the first 8 steps in the Template Defence thread) you can twiddle your thumbs until they discontinue.
Please please please don't show us DCB Legal's email reply in March as we are bored to the back teeth of seeing it. Thanks!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
