Happy (
) Monday everyone,
Another £50 paid into my ISA today, slowly slowly getting there. First Direct have confirmed my free £100 will be with me within 21 days so that will be winging its way over to the ISA as soon as it comes. Hopefully I will hit the £4k mark shortly.
My friend and I are meant to be doing a car boot sale this weekend - if we do end up doing it, I'm aiming for £50. Better go and text her to see if she's still up for doing it.... xMFW

When I moved to FD, they credited my account with my joining fee very quickly, so I am sure you won't have to wait too long!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks Hypno
Free money is very welcome indeed - I mentioned to a couple of my colleagues that I was switching banks and raved to them about the £100 incentive - they looked at me like I was mad and make grumblings of 'that's an awful lot of effort for £100...' If only they knew about some of the other MSE things I do, they would realise that's just the tip of the iceberg:cool::D x

Good to hear of progress and I hope the transfer of current a/c goes well.0 -
Thanks Stuart
Plans for the rest of the week are to send some pending cheques off once the bank transfer sorts itself out, and to have NSDs until Saturday. Given that I have only managed two so far this month that could prove tricky :oMFW

Another £100 paid into savings today. Not sure if I will crack the £4k mark before next payday, we'll have to see how the rest of the month pans out... xMFW

Hi guys,
Just popping in after a lovely week away - feel very refreshed now. Mortgage has been overpaid by £450, tomorrow is number-crunching day to see what we can OP by in October, should be circa the £750 mark but I'll report back tomorrow.
