TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “StaySure x GHR” (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at:  http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html  (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs

Entries are restricted to one entry per person (“Entrant”).

To be considered for the On-Air Competition, Entrants must tick the box on the competition form that states “I wish to enter both the Online and On-Air Competition”, else entries will only register for the Online Competition and be excluded from the On-Air Competition.

“Who in your life deserves a holiday?”

All valid entries must be a minimum of 25 words and a maximum of 250 words.

Valid entries will be judged on the following criteria:

• Worthiness; and 
• Entertainment value.
• We’re looking for the heart-warming, most entertaining stories that stand out on air. Greatest Hits Radio brand filter will be applied to all stories.
• It must be a personal story. No second-hand or made-up stories are allowed.
• Entries must be suitable for broadcast, with no offensive, discriminatory or explicit content.

All valid entries will be judged by: 

• 1 x Bauer staff
• 1 x Producer
• 1 x Independent

If the Entrant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, they will be disqualified. 3. ENTRY PERIOD 

Entries must be submitted during the following (“Entry Period”)

Wednesday 25th February 2026 at 00:01 (“Start Time”) and Friday 20th March 2026 09:00 (“End Time”)

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. 

On-Air Comp Winners:

Submitting Entries:

• The on-air Winners will be selected from all those that fill in the required details on the online entry page and submit the answer to “Who in your life deserves a holiday?”
• Entries received before or after the time will not count or be considered.
• There will be one winner of the competition weekly (four (4) Winners in total). There will be four (4) competition rounds, these will take place on Monday 2nd March 13:00 - 16:00, Monday 9th March 13:00 – 16:00, Monday 16th March 13:00 – 16:00 and Monday 23rd March 13:00 – 16:00.
• All the entries received will be pooled together, and up to three entries will be shortlisted by an independent member of the team per week based on the requirements mentioned in section 2. Competition Mechanic and How To Win.
• The shortlist entrants each week will be selected on Friday 27th February 2026, Friday 6th March 2026 and Friday 13th March 2026 and Friday 20th March 2026 at 09:30, and the competition will air on each following Monday during the Kate Thornton show (13:00 – 16:00) on Greatest Hits Radio. 
• There could be occasions where the show is pre-recorded and therefore contestants will be asked to record on other days.

Shortlisting & Selection 

• Winners will be selected from all valid entries submitted via the online entry form.
• The station reserves the right to edit entries for playout on air.
• The station reserves the right to change the entrants name and other details in the entry. 
• The same pool of entries will be used throughout the entry period, meaning that as more entries are received, an entrant’s chances of winning may decrease accordingly.
• No entrant may win more than one prize across the on-air and online competitions. Winners selected on air will be excluded from the online draw, and online winners will be excluded from the on-air competition.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days [CP5] from the date of the initial attempt to contact them[CP6] , then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS 

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. 
• One entry per person.
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

5. THE PRIZE 

There will be five (5) Winners of The Prize for the On-Air Competition and Online Competition as listed below:

Full description of prizes

• Prize package for 2 people includes:
• Return flights from UK to winner’s choice of European city break (options include, Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, Valencia, Milan, Nice and Krakow) 
• Return airport transfers
• 3 nights’ hotel accommodation in chosen city, based on sharing a double occupancy room with breakfast 
• £100 spending money (winner only)

The Prize is provided by Element London Ltd. (the “Prize Provider”). Proof of identification and address will need to be provided to Bauer Media. The winner’s name, phone number, email and address will be cross checked against the Bauer Winner Database and only once they pass the criteria, they will be deemed the winner of the competition, and the prize will be arranged.

Element Additional Terms and Conditions:

The prize package is for two (2) people, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; Economy flights from major UK airports only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties); Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Excludes checked luggage and prebooked seats; Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and UK departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s; Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) double occupancy room in either Lisbon, Budapest, Prague, Valencia, Milan, Nice or Krakow; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; A valid credit or debit card for incidentals may be required to guarantee your room on check in and therefore at least one of the travellers must possess and travel with a valid credit or debit card; The prize excludes travel insurance, domestic ground transfers, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; All elements of the prize are subject to availability; if unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and equal monetary value may be offered at the prize provider’s discretion; All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (20 December to 3 January), Public Holidays or in July and August; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time; All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or additional insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guests; If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Bauer Media Group will aim to send the prizes to the winner within 28 working days from the date they pass winner checks as mentioned above. However, there may be a delay due to potential unforeseen circumstances and therefore deliveries may take longer. Bauer Media Group will make necessary attempts to keep the winner up to date with details of any delays and when the winner can expect the prize.

Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

1. MISCELLANEOUS. 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call. 
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route. 
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition. 
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
