Energy searches
so might be a daft question, but I compare my energy on say cec, and it’s saving me £200, is that inclusive of the April drop or not? ( as if it already includes that, then there’s no point in moving as I’ll save nearly that anyway). Or am I saving £200 AND the April drop as well?

The April cap is announced tomorrow.
Companies don't have a crystal ball so there is no way for them to publish post April 1st rates yet.

The prices you see on a comparison site today will be based on the prices today, because they do not know what the prices will be exactly in April
But the saving will be almost the same.
i.e. If the current situation is you currently pay £1750 pa and the comparison site suggests another tariff would cost £1550 pa, that is the £200 pa saving,
In April, your current £1750 pa is expected to be about £1600 - £1650 pa
The £1550 pa today will probably be about £1400 - £1450 pa
So still a £200 pa saving (ish)
