DCB Legal Claiming over £700

Hey,

I’d like to gain some advice from anyone who knows more about this kind of stuff as all this is new to me. I’ve just been taken to court from DCB Legal the absolute scums for £307.88 which is now a CCJ on my credit file and has really messed me up especially being a young individual trying to get a mortgage and increase my credit score has now totally messed me up. For that charge I used a parking facility out of hours which is a big open space car park for a supermarket (the range) I was there for grand total of 15 minutes at 1:38AM in 2023!

I’ve now had DCBLegal threaten me for an additional 2 parking charge on seperate occasions in a service yard opposite McDonald’s which was around 12:45AM and stayed for 11 minutes back in 2024 which has resulted to a £170 claim!

Now the third one they are chasing me for is in the same location but back in 2024 where I stayed for a grand total of 11 minutes and they are asking for £273!

Just wanted some guidance from some people with knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you

have you read the newbies thread?

    you've got two issues here:

    1. Get the CCJ sorted.
    2. Stop any further action on the other PCNs
  • What can I actually do in regards to the CCJ currently on my account?

You'd be best starting with reading NEWBIES Announcement thread POST 2 - Small Claim

How did you end up with a CCJ? Did you receive the Claim form?

What stage are the other 3 PCNs at? Letter of Claim or CNBC Claim form? Are these all from same parking company?

Post Details about the ccj in this current thread of yours

Start a new thread for each and every separate claim, with Details ( so 2 more threads. )

The NEWBIES thread already covers setting aside a CCJ but how on earth did that happen? You ignored a Claim Form?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
