Up for a loo break at 4.30am and couldn't get back to sleep grrrrrr

Just set the breadmaker going and now come back to bed for another hour or so.

Getting summer clothes out today to see if they still fit as on holiday next week. Fingers crossed!

Morning SCARLET and all to follow. Back to the usual stupid o'clock wakening this morning, I knew yesterday's very rare sleep in wouldn't last.

I don't think we have any rain/drizzle forecast for today. Surprising after 2 days of fine weather - well until evening at least. I have promised myself I will wash down the front door and side panels today. If it didn't look a mess after all the wind and rain recently, a bird has now decided to poop all down it making it look even worse!

Other than that a day of same old same old, pottering on with playing catch up. And a tidy out of the freezer wouldn't go amiss. It beats me how it gets into such turmoil when there is only me here.

morning everyone off out to a cleaning job in a minute it’s dry so hopefully it will stay that way I definitely noticed it was a bit lighter this morning. TA I washed all my paintwork down yesterday and the windows got cleaned everything was filthy you can see through them now I have a lot of outside cleaning jobs to get on with but it’s still a bit cold for me yet but it all will get done bit by bit . I will walk little dog later I’ve got some sliced gammon out of the freezer for tonight I will do some little potatoes with it another easy meal . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Another short day at work but a couple of errands to run as well and maybe a walk by the river this afternoon if it stays dry-ish. Yesterday was warm, but windy!

Morning again. It's damp at the moment but bright, so I'm hoping for the best. Yesterday I actually got some washing dry outside, first time for months.

Not much doing today, it's my birthday but we had a family meal out a week or two ago as an early celebration. It was easier to get the family together that weekend, and at my age I don't worry about marking my birthday!

TA, my freezer is in a terrible mess, I'll have to tidy it yet again! And it's me who gets into this state.

Izzy, I'm sorry to hear about your sister, I hope she can be successfully treated.

Good morning, and a happy birthday to Scarlet.

Dry and mild here, hopefully it'll stay as I've got washing to do, and will put out on the line. Then there's the washing down to do, the bright weather shows up the dust and dirt. That's my day sorted.

Not sure what's for tea, maybe burgers as I got some fresh rolls yesterday.

Morning all - Happy Birthday @ScarletRibbons 🎉🎁- have a lovely day. I know it's @TravellingAbuela's around this time too, hope it's not been missed! It's mine nearer the end of the month but it'll be sad as there's no-one left who sends me a card, I could always guarantee one from Lionel, I have the one he sent me for my 21st birthday. As a rule I don't mind not getting cards but this will be different. Anyway…

The weather yesterday morning was as if it were mid-winter. At one point the rain stopped and the wind dropped enough for me to manage a very short walk before blasting back in. Today is watery with thick white clouds. I'v slept late this morning, didn't wake until 7.30a.m. so my day will be slow. I've chicken and soup in the fridge ready for lunch.

Happy Birthday SCARLET. Have a lovely lazy day. No GERS you haven't missed mine. I think I bring up the rear with quite a few celebrating around this time. Mine is my exceedingly big one this year and despite me wanting to just let it pass me by quietly my family have all sorts planned for that week.

Morning all

Dry here and meant to be all day 🤞I have two people coming today and they have requested a walk so we are going to a local marina which has a circular path which is concrete so hopefully less mud, there are benches there where we can have lunch and I think a cafe for a drink afterwards.

My dd is going out with her dad for dinner tonight, he is completely useless and this will be the first time she has seen his for over two years, not even a Birthday or Christmas card in that time, I bet there is an agenda behind the meeting but maybe I am just old and cynical 😬

Dinner tonight will be ham egg and chips, nice and easy and I need to do a shop for Wednesday.

Yesterday I contacted two gardeners to come and quote for cutting the back hedge back before nesting season starts, they are coming tomorrow so I hope it’s not too expensive.

Izzy sorry to hear about your sister I hope they can get it sorted quickly xx
