Euro Car Park/ DCB Legal LTD claim form

I have received a claim form for a parking fine from Europarks for £262.12. This relates to a typo error when I did purchase £9.30 worth of parking in July 2025 but accidentally selected the wrong vehicle from list of vehicles saved on my app. I have already sent an explanation and proof to Europarks, and as with many of the other threads I have now read on here, they were ignorant and still demanded money, I now realise that in their response when they had reduced down £20 but I actually misunderstood and had thought it was £120 and they had added £20 onto original fine after my explanation! I have ignored every follow up letter since then.

I have no intention of paying if I can fight it successfully but do not want to mess with the possibility of getting CCJ.

I have tried to navigate to templates etc from previous advice but am getting a little mixed up as some are very old

would really appreciate some helpful pointers/ direction please. I think I have to file an AOS first and want to do this today if possible - but don't want to use the forms posted to me if there are other options

    Euro Car Parks, not Europarks

Do not use the forms, file them away

Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below

Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

Study the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum and follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements too

Complete the AOS online on MCOL, via your government gateway account

    No paperwork, no emails

Then adapt the template defence by coupon mad in announcements, adapting paragraph 3

No chance of a CCJ even if you lost and paid within the directions of the court …. that's it NO CCJ

But it us after all DCBL and EURO ?

Read the DCBL Discontinuation thread and you will see what I mean.

You will get "percy filth" letters from DCBL offering a discount and spouting whatever is in their mind of the day. Wgatever it is, as said IGNORE … unless it's a real court claim

Yep, there is no CCJ risked at all as long as you defend and send in the N180. You could literally ignore the Mediation call and twiddle your thumbs after that stage and they'll just discontinue by the Autumn!

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
