Looking at them they look like cheap clear plastic that would be a b***er to keep clean and pristine, especially in a hard water area.

I'll stick with my stainless steel basket.

I don't. The one in the shower is Crosswater and I think the one over the bath (which was installed when we bought the place) is Bristan
