Changing Car
I'm awaiting delivery of a new motor but the insurance on my current car will expire probably a week or two before the new one arrives. Would it make a difference who I insure it with to just change it after a few weeks or is there an alternative way of doing it.
Thanks

Almost certainly best to insure the existing car then change the policy over when you get your new car.

I had just renewed my car insurance a couple of weeks before I got a new car. The policy was with Aviva. I went onto their portal and changed the car on there. There was no admin fee as it was done online and there was no additional premium to pay. That surprised me, as I had done dummy quotes for the new car and the insurance was a lot more than the existing car.
