But not all of them are suitable for all areas in a bathroom.

Most (all?) there are at least IP44, i.e. AFAIK suitable for zones 2 and 3. AFAIK ceiling higher than 2.25m isn't zone 1 even above a bath.

Their filters say that 23 are suitable for zone 2 out of 37 so certainly not all of them and hence my point.

I'm not saying they have to be integrated LED, but integrated LED options in those areas are far superior. eg, cheapest bathroom light fitting from the link you provided, looks old fashioned and ghastly in m opinion, takes a regular ES27 bulb, so max output around 1600lumens at very best. compare that to an Ansell Disco ADIS2/1 which gives 2300lumens for only 16W. so the basic fitting it's not as bright, and its more expensive. the Ansell has a 7 year warranty too

now do that comparison with an outdoor floodlight if you can, I don't know of one that takes changeable bulbs but the output won't ever be as much as integrated LED, and the power draw will be higher.

what I'm suggesting is for those types of lights, it's not worth opting for the less efficient bulbed version, and dedicated LED fittings which require complete replacement are going to work out better
