Finance aggregators
What's a good free app to auto track savings, investments, current accounts, mortgages/loans & credit cards and display the whole picture in one app

it would depend on the kinds of accounts you have, and the providers you use. In my experience, there isn’t any single app that supports them all but if you have just a small selection of accounts/providers, you might find one that suits. Unlikely that you get it for free

I live in the past, so I use Money Dashboard.

I don't think that it's possible - though it might, in theory, become so at some point in the future.
The problem here is that any such app would, as far as I know, rely on Open Banking, but not all accounts are accessible through it. I might be mistaken, but I don't think that any of my credit cards (three), savings accounts (eighteen, from eleven providers) or S&S ISA can be accessed that way. Even the organisations that do participate tend only to allow access to their current accounts.Correction: I can see my Nationwide credit card, as well as my current account in Santander's app. But I can't see either of my Nationwide savings account.
I did like First Direct's Internet Banking Plus, which was a great aggregation tool. It might have done what you want. But it relied on screen scraping, was never developed, and gradually became less useful as a result. They withdrew it in 2019.

See below my recent post in the Techie forum regarding Lifestage Money. Its probably the nearest app that currently fits your parameters.
At the present time I get live updates for 7 current accounts, 9 savings accounts and 6 credit card accounts. However, a lot of other savings accounts have to be loaded and updated manually since they do not use open banking.
Overall the app works great for my specific requirements espscially as an asset/ net worth register, so worth the £14.99 annual fee on that basis.

yes , assuming your products all use open bank, most do , I assume in the future they will all be required to
screen scraping sounds very dangerous for finance , bypasses MFA and can't even used OAuth ! It's belongs on the hacking category :-)

thanks for this I shall take a look. Already searched and queried chatGPT, many products came up but they were all like for to use on clients rather than end users, offering free demo like 1990s rather than download app , so products exist in old tech format , but they are just paid for by IFAS to make their life easier not yet seeing much that modern UX

assuming this is just like maintaining your own spreadsheet and manually updating it?
I have this already, with formulas to calculate each months interest but the problem is with so many moves and changes it's hard to keep up-to-date

Alternatively pick one of your current account provider banks and add the other accounts to it via open banking. I use BoS and have most of my other accounts added to the app for monitoring that support OB.
