Parking Ticket for 10 mins overstay in retail car park
Hi,
I have received Parking Charge Notice for 10 minutes overstay in retail park (private car park).
Should I appeal or it’s not worth it?
See attached car park entrance signage & inside signage.
I will appreciate your suggestions.

Exactly 10 minutes? + how many seconds?
Obviously it's not a fine and you'll never have to pay this invoice, so put that out of your mind.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here is the timing…

Plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad is always the best option, complaining in writing to the Retail Park management company that manages the site on behalf of the landowners
Its 10 minutes and 17 seconds

Then try an appeal stating ten minutes is the minimum grace period not a maximum. Also try the same at IAS kangaroo court so we can all have a laugh!
