It will go to court, your local civil court, 98% of these cases get to the defendants local court

You will both have the same WS deadline for that court

Depends if you have good legal grounds for counter claiming, and it requires an upfront fee to the CNBC

I’ve got no reason to counter claim but have seen others were saying about counter claiming for a days work due to attending the hearing, didn’t know whether this was a genuine valid reason for a counter claim

That's not a counter claim, its a Costs assessment statement to submit to your local civil court along with your WS

DEFINITELY NOT a valid reason for a counter claim at the defence stage
