Do bear in mind that if you are in your 60s then you might live for another 20 to 30 years - someone more knowledgable will be along with the real statistics.
If you reach 60 then a man will live on average another 24 years and a woman 26 years. So 50% will live longer, and if you have no serious medical issues or bad habits and you are educated and financially comfortable it is more likely you will be in that 50%. Around 25% will reach their 90's.

As of 2024, there were an estimated
16,600 to 16,650
centenarians (people aged 100 and over) living in the UK, marking a record high and more than doubling since 2004. The population of centenarians in 2023 was 16,140, with the vast majority being female, although the number of male centenarians is increasing at a faster rate
