Your last comment is why when retuning, you first do it with the aerial out, wait until it's finished (there will no channels stored) and then do it again with the aerial in.
We used to answer calls and emails for this and it's not something I miss :)

No it's not. Retuning when a transmitter is off / has a fault (or there's a receiving aerial problem) means the stored tuning data is lost. That means that when the fault is repaired the TV doesn't "just work"!!
You seem to want to make work for people when none is needed!

I never said "it just works" so I don't know why you're making things up?
For the OP, if you know the name of transmitter (google maps may help) then search for it here:-
If it's not there then call the RestoreTV number given earlier and they can tell you if it's the mobile mast causing issues. They'll send you free of charge a little plug in filter for each TV that fits between the aerial and the TV socket.
