    Thanks @beanielou I had a great time.

It's payday eve and I'm itching to do some monthly money shuffle tomorrow.

    My end of month spends are as follows;

    £170 food

    £136 petrol

    £32 Eating out

    £119 Miscellaneous

Total month spend (outside my London trip) is £457. Nice and under my 650 budget. Looking at the numbers now I'll be able to start topping up my sinking fund again after my car insurance emptied it. No annual bills coming up in June. TV licence will be due in July.

There's a stocks and shares ISA with a cashback offer going from S@ntander that I'm going to try. Looks like it needs £100 to qualify and 3 months invested. I'll have the spare funds to do it, so I'm going to treat this as a sort of savings account to pay off the laptop loan earlier. If I get the cashback in a few months, great, if not, then I'll still put a little in each month till it's enough to pay it off.

    C'mooooon payday!

All hail the 'Great Monthly Money Shuffle' Is it strange that I look forward all month to this??

It's a big shuffle this month.

CC spending card all paid for the month.

    £200 in Sinking Fund

    £100 to the T212 ISA

£325 sent over to the other account for the SIPP and moved bills.

£800 overpayment to the car loan. This takes the balance down to £17,618.

Laptop direct debit finally came out on the 1st bringing the balance down to £1125.

£100 sent to my new S@ntander ISA. It took a few days for it to appear in my app, so I'm not even sure Topc@shback even tracked it properly. Not convinced this particular cash back is going to work, but I've got nothing to lose to try for it. Will put it towards the laptop debt a few months down the line.

Overall a very successful month. I'm definitely planning forward a lot better now then when I started the debt busting journey. Very pleased that I managed to put money aside for the large car insurance renewal and the London trip.

Need to keep on top of building up the sinking fund money. TV licence due next month and my car will need it's first service in the next month or two.

    Onwards to June!

    Financial brain dump #4

Lying awake at silly o'clock at night as I drank too much caffeinated diet coke.

Another scrutiny at my accounts shows I have some spare monies. Decided to send a month's overpayment of the laptop loan of £125. This brings it down to £999 and 9 payments left.

My SIPP has now grown to £8500. And that's not including the most recent £300 that was sent and two pending tax reliefs of £75. Think I'm starting to see the compounding interest working it's magic now. Very excited to see this hit a magic 10k mark

My T212 S&S ISA is currently at £1840. So.... technically...I do have 10k in investments total. It's not going to feel real though untill I see that 5 figure sum, darn it!

Forgot to mention that the last loan overpayment saved me £258 in interest, and leaves 12 over payments left. That's a bit mad. Need to do a total sum of interest saved so far and update my colouring chart to keep the motivation.

Right. Now that those numbers and thoughts are out of my head. Maybe I can finally sleep...

    Nah, who am I kidding.
