Busting this debt before 42

Got my glasses back, yay! I'm not walking around in a daze anymore. My eyes are feeling better already. Missed my glasses.

My spending cc statement has kicked in at £688 spending for the month. It would have been £60 less if I wasn't such a clutz with my glasses, slightly annoying. Still, happy that it's within budget.

I stopped writing my spends down in my book to see how I got on. I've changed enough of my habits now that I don't have to spend mental calories on the daily stuff deciding what to buy. Learned that I value a nice coffee out over buying random stuff. Seriously, getting rid of Amazon Prime was probably the best move to create the most friction to stop buying cr** I don't need.

Speaking of Amazon. Slight mse win in the form of a £25 Amazon gift voucher from hitting the YouGov threshold. Combined with my other voucher I got, there's now £70 gift card balance in there. I'd like to get some more insulation foam and tape to winter proof the house a little more. Will wait till I've got some proper time off at Xmas and then decide if I still want to use the vouchers on that. Or save it for Xmas presents, we will see.

Payday in two days. Will do the money shuffle on Monday when all the bills have come out. If my calculations are right then I'll be able to colour in three more lines on my chart and I'll pass the 50% point. Can't wait.
