Should I split one card three ways?

I have a Halifax credit card with about £3,500 on it which has come to the end of it's 0% life. I have tried to transfer it to another card but am having difficulty getting this amount of credit. It looks like the only way to do it is to transfer it to about 3 separate cards.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can do?
Thanks

I put a round the world trip onto CC,s a few years ago and have been BTing debts onto a load of cards which I then never use.I,ve just bought a new house which has put my mortgage up from 25k to 120k so was a bit worried about shifting my CC debts this year however Virgin gave me a 4.5k credit limit although I only moved 1.5k,my wife had a poor credit history which resulted in a "black mark" 5 years ago,Virgin gave her a 2k BT this time last year, maybe worth a try.Have also moved 1.5k to Citibank life of balance transfer offer in the last few weeks. Good luck.I have a deep burning indifference0

I found that Capital One gave me my biggest credit limit in recent times, you could try them, they generally have quite a long 0% period. Applying for more than 2 or 3 cards in a short while won't help your credit rating, so it's a bit of a catch 22.
Otherwise, you could try for a low LOB card.0 -
Out of the 7 or 8 cards I have which have brought down my Round the trip debt. Oh well, I guess my name must've been the one out of the hat that day!
As a rule I would say there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what card companies do
