Parkingeye ASDA using attached community centre - failed to register vehicle

Hi everyone,

So a bit of a complex one. There is a community centre attached to the ASDA in my local town which ASDA has granted authority for use of its car park past the 3 hour limit if needed. The appellant is also a blue badge holder.

In order for this to be valid, the users of the centre need to scan a QR code in reception and register their VRN. The appellant failed to do so and received the following notice.

I can't see any obvious wins on the MSE forum. Are there any glaring appeal points? Photos of the land and signage to come. I'll keep looking.

Any help appreciated as usual!

BD

Do not talk about the driver 'failing' to take the extra steps that are a burden on disabled people and only exist because ParkingEye don't want to police accessible bays on foot!

    Plan A:

First, go in hard about failure to make 'reasonable adjustments' and get the Asda Manager to cancel it. Easy! Wave the Blue Badge at a manager at the CS desk and NOT the first 19 year old manning it.

    Only if that fails…

    Plan B:

Do a similarly worded appeal to ParkingEye attaching a copy of the Blue badge AND copy ASDA receipt.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. So there's no receipt for use of the store, it was use of the community centre which is attached to it. The centre has authority from ASDA (as landowners) for their patrons to exempt themselves from overstay by scanning a QR code in reception and entering their VRN.

Do you think a lack of store receipt is going to be a disadvantage? I've fired an email off to ASDA, copying in the Kindle Centre (can be googled)

    Thanks again

Great! Lack of receipt wasn't a problem?

    Plan A strikes again!
