Yes I said I had it all lined up for court, I wasn't lying I had and I said I would report back and I have, its not my fault assumptions were made. What is wrong with that? Am I not allowed to have a flurry of nerves before the hearing and yes I also posted on LegalBeagles is that a crime? I was looking for informed advice.
I am here to feed back what happened and to advise people that the retailer was liable but that the judge said I did not prove the inherent fault part. I thought it might help others?

I posted on Legalbeagles at more or less the same time, if you can read both, can't I post on both?

You lot are really harsh I asked a simple question about who I should have approached seeking reassurance, I owed you nothing more, you were free to ask questions but I didn't hide anything from you, I simply asked the question I needed an answer to and I did get some very helpful replies form a couple of people that served me well on the day. I said quite clearly "I'm all lined up to take this to the small claims court" and I was a few days later.
I didn't waffle in court, I didn't get a chance.Do you get a kick out of pulling people up but adding nothing of value to the conversation?
If you don't have anything constructive to say that please pass me by. Sincere thanks for those who make helpful/constructive comments whether they proved true or not, you answered with good intent and it is appreciated.

I got really good advice on LegalBeagles

Had you advised in 1st post that you were already taking the co to court it would not have changed answers. What it would have done is given people posting a FULL idea of where you were.👍

But at that point I didn't need them to know that, at that point I believed the battle would be getting the judge to see that the KC were liable and not the manufacturer. That was the FULL question I wanted answering.
And (this is not aimed at you), I would have been accused of waffling, I can't win, if I don't say something I am not giving enough info and if I say more, I am waffling. I gave the info I wanted an answer to and said I would let you all know the outcome, which I did. I wasn't intentionally hiding anything and asked the question I needed reassurance over. And incidentally, someone on here and legalbeagles helped me tighten up what I needed to state in that respect and probably helped me get that message across to the judge.
Finally when certain responders have come on here today, not to add constructive criticisms or guide me on what I could do now if I had the desire, but simply to take a pot shot, why is that helpful?

I didn't want to post my claim form, I didn't need overall advice, I just wanted reassurance I was targeting the right people because I had received contradictory information and having read around it myself I had come to the conclusion I needed to take the claim against the KC but I was a few days away from the hearing and wanted reassurance. Its my choice what I reveal as I don't want to be outed.

The problem is that you were being economical with the truth. When you said you had everything lined up for court, that in no way (to me) means that you have already submitted a claim against KC and you are a few days away from the hearing. It was giving off a false impression as I took that statement to mean that you were preparing to submit a claim, based on your original post with the kind of questions you were asking and it seems other posters were under the same impression too.
You are of course, entitled to be as selective as you want when it comes to sharing the information and the questions you are asking, but in my opinion, this was unhelpful because I feel like my previous posts answering your questions were a complete waste of time, which, had I known the current status from the start, I would have likely posted something different.
It's unfortunate you lost your claim, and you have the right to make an application for permission to appeal the decision if you wish, but I think I will bow out of the thread now and leave it to others to offer suggestions, if any.
