Single Skin Insulation
We moved last year and are just starting some large DIY projects. Job no. 1 is insulating one of the living spaces downstairs.
The property is single skin with lime mortar, we think we know what we want to do but don’t want to cause further issues down the road.
Our current plan is to DPC the wall and then 1 inch baton and use insulated plaster board and then plaster and decorate on the external walls.
Anyone done anything similar or have any alternate/better ideas?
Thanks.

Do you mean single skin( quite rare and potentially unstable) or solid wall ( quite normal in any house built before 1930)?

Never done it, but be aware of the potential for metallic insulated plasterboard to effectively create a Faraday cage and choke your mobile phone and WiFi signals.

When insulating solid 9 inch brick walls built with lime mortar, a lot of firms are using breathable methods such as insulating plaster, wood wool or wood fibre, rather than kingspan.
You might want to take some advice from a lime specialist such as Ty-Mawr.
