Help I need a new Business Bank account

Hi,

Im currently with HSBC and my 1 Year Free Banking is running out at the end of this month. I want to switch and of course utilise as much free banking as possible. I think Alliance and Leicester are the best. But before I switch i would like some advise / suggestions on teh best one.

My average deposits are £4k per month
I deposit about 50 cheques per month

I pay out about 10 cheques per month
I pay out about 8 direct debits per month

I have a Business Credit Card - but avoid using.

My current "Free" Banking benefit from HSBC are about £35 pm.

Please advise - i think A&L offering is for life - it is not made very clear. Abbey will cost me a bit more (£5 or so per month) as is only free for deposits upto £3k pm. But i want to avoid swithcing ever year as I want to build a good rapport with a single bank due to potential futire needs.

Abbey is free forever, and are fine for my business account...
100 cheques and visa debit card etc

I'm happy with A&L - and you can bank cash at any post office which is useful.
Online banking has improved recently but still not great - you can do most things with it though.
