Long lost shares
I need help in tracing some shares i bought with a company i worked for way back in the early 1990's
They were called Franklin Quest back then and more recently Franklin Covey according to companies house.
Originally the company was from Salt lake city USA and had a small branch here in the UK i worked for. I have no paperwork from the shares but i do remember the company name Merrill Lynch being on past paperwork. i have had a change of name since then too and i don't have a clue how to go about chasing them up.
i'm not even sure if they are worth anything.
any ideas anyone?

Looks like it uses Merrill Lynch to manage its share plan. I found the following pdf with a contact number:

If you own the shares directly and not via a nominee you could try its transfer agent (share registrar). The danger of being out of touch for so long is that you may have forfeited the shares, though.https://ir.franklincovey.com/ir-resources/investor-faqs

Thanks for that.
I have emailed their investor relations for any help.
I doubt i would be sitting on a fortune as my investment was only between £100-200 but I am curious to find out what has happened after all this time.
My mum still lives at the address I was at when i bought them and she hasn't had any post from them in over 25 years. So i have no idea if they still exist.

this is the reply i got back….
That is a good question about your shares, we here at Corporate don’t have any information about your shares or if you even have any. Last year we moved the ESPP program to Merrill Lynch to manage. A suggestion is to call them and see if they can track anything for you, but my bet is because they were shares purchased internationally, they won’t have a record, but worth a shot. FC haven’t allowed foreign residents to purchase ESPP shares for a long time, but laws may have been different in the early 90s, and we may have allowed foreign residents to purchase ESPP shares at that time.
with the time difference and not knowing what number i should call, i have found an email address to ML so i have dropped an email to see what comes back.
