Sports Direct Customer Services Gone Missing
Hi, I've been Sorts Direct Customer for a couple of years and sometimes I need to return goods, I don't have a printer and cant use QR codes so I have previously completed the online returns form then contacted Customer Services who have arranged a collection and deducted the fee from my refund, this has worked fine until now; I've filled in the form as usual and selected the Contact Us option only to be sent round in circles between pages of FAQs which don't help. The Opening Times for CS are still up but there is no way to reach them, I'd prefer a phone No or live chat, email would be fine, heck I'd even take AI at this point but nothing, all the Contact Us, even the one on the complaints page go back to the same list of unhelpful options. I found a couple of phone numbers on Google but 1 was 'temporarily out of service' and the other said it was no longer in use but I should go to the web page for the new 034 number, but its not there. Any suggestions ? I only have a week before my option to return ends and as its approx £100 I don't want to get stuck with items I can't use. I found a postal address in NG20 so I might use snail mail to complain but I'd rather solve the problem.

you could try direct messaging them on X - they haven’t posted recently but they have put some replies up in December although to be honest they didn’t look to be particularly helpful.

I can to say up until now Sports Direct Customer Service has been slow but eventually got things done but now I'm beyond exasperated. I'm not a fan of social media but I've borrowed a friends FB account, on his pc, and thought I was getting somewhere after 3 days of swapping messages someone/thing called Alex told me I could have a DPD collection with 1 working days notice and would I specify when I wanted it. But before I got this message some other AI/idiot got on the message thread and asked why I was making the return, I sent a quite clear explanation of how far down the returns line I'd already got, saying when I wanted the collection and explaining that I wasn't getting messages directly and there would be a few hours delay. The reply came back ignoring everything I'd said and sending me to the online form and saying all the details were there and how easy it would be for me to organize a return and 'please get in touch with any further issues'. !!!!!! I've been trying to sort this since the 6th. I'm sure they do this so we less techie folks will give up and keep their tat but partly because its £100 quids worth and partly because I stubborn I shan't give in.
