I sold mine at top price with no boiler. It had broken down and replacing would mean major work to relocate it. Buyers were happy to install where and what they wanted to.

Been looking to buy and turned down some because of where the boiler is located or how it was done. One even had the pipes going on the wall so bear in mind you need all the pipes set in wall, below floor etc. then you need to make that all good.

Unless it's in brilliant condition and location (in which case the heating won't be important) leave well alone. Clean and appealing for people to have less hassle moving in

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

No. If it doesn't have heating, presumably it also requires modernisation in other ways. Most people renovating will have their own plans, which won't match whatever you put in. They might want to move walls, replace windows with patio doors, install solar or air source heat pumps - all of which could mean undoing what you've just done.

I've done 4 major renovations, all for myself. Any work done to 'make them more sellable' generally results in me making a lower offer because they mean more work to undo or work around. You might think you're adding value, but end up with the hassle and outlay without gaining anything.
