Big fan of Aldi. I rate them top for quality on a lot of their stuff but their mayo and tomato ketchup are 2 items that I did swiftly throw out!

Nope..Olive oil. I don't care about wiki definitions. It was traditionally made for hundreds of years with olive oil. Certainly not seed oils which hadn't been created. Maybe you can make Mayonnaise without eggs as well?

ALDI seem to have reverted back to the inferior mayonnaise. Much less flavour due to the lower oil and egg content. Sad - i'll have to find another source.
On the bright side, this thinner less flavoursome mayonnaise makes an ok base for coleslaw. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

You have reminded me - my bottle remains unopened in the fridge. I had bought it hearing that it adds a good crunch to roast potatoes.
