Used car - not sure which way to turn from here...

Wow! That's incredible that it takes about a year for the MO to look at a case! Ugh.
No cost on finance. It was cash purchase…

Just looking back at the original post, it's worth doing the usual clarification…
"I purchased a 2020 Volvo XC90 T8 from a Volvo dealership on December 27th … the car being with Volvo for repairs
…
Jan 16 - limp mode activated, car recovered to Volvo
…
Feb 5 - car lost power, limp mode activated - near accident. Car recovered to dealership. Requested refund under consumer rights act 2015 from Volvo dealership
…
Feb 11 - No word from Volvo as yet."
And that clarification is that all your rights are against the dealership, not against "Volvo" themselves. You bought a used car from a dealership who operate under franchise, and that dealership is the corporate entity who owe you the money. Volvo Car UK Ltd are not part of this dispute at all.
Volvo Car UK Ltd are 75%+ owned by the manufacturer's Chinese parent company, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. Ltd
The dealership will likely be part of a large multi-marque chain of dealerships.1 -
Update - Volvo just responded with an agreement to refund. I guess the LBA worked! Case closed.
Thanks everyone for your help. Much appreciated.

That's interesting.
So they agreed to a refund within the 7 day deadline in your LBA?
I'm impressed
