Bus Lane Charge
Please advise if this is worth paying the £35 reduced fee or contesting. It was dark and wet - travelling with a young baby - the bus lane sign and toad markings were missed - there are large trees on that road and as soon as I noticed, I tried to get out of the lane

I get it was 'dark and wet' and most likely the area was new to you, but what the fine got to

There is a level of maternity & breastfeeding protection in the EA 2010 but it won't extend to 'being in a bus lane' whilst the child happens to be a passenger.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
