To anyone one following this thread, or coming across it, the UK government is launching an inquiry:
Student loans: new inquiry on repayment terms and the taxation of graduates launches
They are asking for people to take a survey regarding the loans and repayment system.
The deadline for completing the survey is 5pm on Tuesday 14 April 2026.
