thanks for the start @Gers
Just a quick hello as I have to go out soon. Long day of invigilating today and yesterday as well as running around before and afterwards.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Another rubbish night's sleep and another day of mizzly drizzly rain. I am fed up with both.
It's lunch with DF today if it happens. As usual I await confirmation. If it's on I hope it's as quiet as last week. I think the miserable weather must be keeping everyone confined to barracks. As usual I'll go down on the earlier bus as one or two things needed from B**ts. I won't make a special trip if lunch is off, the bits will wait a bit longer.
YL I use the quick wash most of the time these days. A Godsend when we are trying to cut back on electric usage.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe xx

morning everyone thanks for the start Gers I’m off out to a cleaning job soon and yes the weather is dismal it’s never ending when will it ever be light . Chicken dinner tonight another tiny gap in the freezer although I did get round to giving the kitchen one a good tidy I can’t face the one in the garage that might be a job for the weekend. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all
Looking a bit damp out there but not expecting any rain until this afternoon.
A good natter yesterday and the ex-colleague who still works where I used to work told us that the place is getting worse and is so jealous that we were able to give up work as she can't until next year. Feel for her. Got some yellow stickered steak and kidney pies for dinner that I got yesterday to have for dinner today. Coffee shop at M***s was freezing. I think they had the air con on to stop customers from staying too long!
Not sure what to do today. Might go out and do a bit in the garden if the rain keeps off.
Have a good day all x

Morning again. Yesterday turned into a fine day, lots of blue sky and not much rain, more some light drizzle now and then.
I've not felt too well over the past few days so first thing yesterday I phoned the surgery to book a call with a GP. Went to my exercise class, sat in the car park, thought about it for a while and then came home again. There were more papers to sort out and dispose of and more sliders and skiers to watch. Once the doc phoned she asked me to come in and give a urine sample and see someone. Upshot is that I have another UTI - it hadn't got to the stage of the urgency stuff but there it was. So, more strong ABs and more water (not sure how much more I can drink).
I went up to bed fairly early to watch TV and ended up being riveted by the ice dancing. Just wish that more was said about the technical requirements of the routines. Some odd bits and pieces were talked about but not consistently for each pair. Anyway, I enjoyed it nevertheless.
Not sure about today. Something will turn up! Hugs to all, especially the poorlies and those with poorlies in the family.

Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Another night with little sleep.
Seems like another cold and damp day, need to get into the garden but it's just too cold.
I'm trying to eat from the freezer instead of buying, having a chest freezer for one seems unnecessary. The shops are only a short walk away.
Take care

Morning all
Raining again, I walked the dogs past the village pond yesterday and it’s very close to bursting its banks, it’s done this once before since we lived here and the roads were impassable, luckily we live on a bank so it shouldn’t affect us.
Two people coming today and we are off to the community cafe for games and lunch out, I am having to drop them back a bit early as I have my appointment with the breast clinic this afternoon hopefully they can put my mind at rest.
Dinner tonight will be pizza and salad nice and quick as I am not sure what time I will be back, dd is working a double shift today so won’t be here for dinner.
Gers hopefully you have caught it early before it gets too bad, rest up you have been through such a lot xxx
Have good days all and take care xx15 -
Morning all. Another dreary looking day but at least it's not raining.
We're going to pop up to J Lewis this morning as I want to look for a new electric hand mixer plus I have a voucher for a free piece of cake and DH has one for two hot drinks! I can also go to the Library whilst I'm there and pick up some coleslaw and salad bits in M&S.
Yesterday's walk was lovely. A lot of other people out as well because it was a dry, bright day.
@Coxy11 any sign of work yet this week?
@Gers hope you soon feel better. It's horrible having an UTI, especially if you don't know why.
Hope everyone else is keeping well and has a good day.

Morning all thanks Gers. Its not raining but dull and grey. Sorry you've not been feeling too well.
Not been out with Ldog yet, he's reluctant to move! DH is getting his haircut later so I'm going to jump in the van with him and he can drop me off at morries for a few bits.
Other than that nothing planned, no school run today. Possibly sausage and mash for the menfolk later.
DS cleaned the rubber seal round the washer for me with a special tablet you put in and set going. Certainly loosened a load of yuck!
Take care all

Good morning
Dry here at the moment, but surprise surprise, rain due later.
Only the usual chores today, trying to keep up with cleaning the everlasting mud splashes from when BD comes in. He has his paws wiped but still manages to splash.
Beef stew last night, tonight will be chicken wrapped in bacon, chips/jacket potato and coleslaw.
Gers, hope the ABs work and you feel better soon.
Ruby, hope all goes well and you get a good result.
Have a good day all, take care.
