I find the last few pages of interest, in particular the transcript from the Ofgem CEO interview by ML.
I had always believed that account credit was effectively an opt-out as has been repeatedly reported by news vendors. So whats happened here, has it simply been misreported, or has Ofgem got an enforcement problem?
One of the big weaknesses of Ofgem, is they can make consumer protection rules, but nearly all of them are self policed by the suppliers.0
