Should I look for Car insurance that includes AA cover?
I have renewed my AA cover at £200 on the 2 Feb. Following Martins advice to get car insurance quotes early - I started looking. I see a lot of the insurance policies can include road side assistance.
I am very happy with the AA (they have a dedicated wee van in my area and he's never far away). So wouldn't want to take roadside assistance if it were not the AA. Is it worth getting an inclusive deal. My car renewal this morning without it, was showing £197.
Thanks in advance

It'll likely be cheaper but if you will find anyone that uses the AA as their breakdown cover provider is another matter… AA's own motor insurance broker presumably does. Admiral use AA network but the AA isnt the provider technically.
You may also find that your little local van may not be open to jobs when it's an insurance add on to another seller.

Thats what I am afraid of…

In my experience, it's not worth paying more for AA or RAC. They can do very little on the roadside these days, so all you really want is either ongoing transport to your destination, recovery home/local garage, and homestart. There are many others who offer this (often referred to as 3* cover, but it might differ across companies). I have been with startrescue for a few years, last time I paid in the region of £38 for the year

Also check the number of callouts that they offer. I have just found out that the AA cover I had bundled in with my insurance only allows one call out a year.
Which I thought I’d checked, but clearly not well enough, because I wouldn’t have taken out the cover if I had understood that was the caseAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
That £200 AA cover is very expensive, by way of comparison Green Flag charge around £60 for the same cover, at home, roadside and recovery. Some car servicing with a main dealer also includes EU wide breakdown cover
