Energy and Broadband comparison with Spain

Thw Spanish charges are broken down into various separate components, which adds to the complexity of the bill.
It looks like you've only used 60kWh over 29 days. That's an extremely low electricity use. An equivalent bill on the current Ofgem cap (27.69p/kWh, 54.75p/day) would be £32.49.
€31.57 is, at current exchange rates, about £27.56 - so less than the equivalent UK bill, but not by all that much.
Referring back to your earlier post:
Gas (19kg bottle) price i… is now 18 euro in 2026. The Gas bottle in Spain is for heating hot water, last about 2 to 3 months, also another bottle for Gas fires, last about 3 months.
A kilogram of LPG contains about 14kWh, so a 19kg bottle contains 266 kWh. Ifyou're buying two bottles every three months that's eight bottles a year, 2128 kWh/yr. You're also a very low user of gas when you consider that the median UK property uses almost 12000 kWh of gas a year.

I've just found out that Octopus supplies electricity in Spain 😀 Tariff info here:
This is their current variable tariff, including taxes:
You can see that it's a time-of-use tariff, with high, mid and low rates. Cropped from the bottom of the screenshot is the info that weekends and holidays are low tariff all day. (No longer cropped, I fixed the screenshot!)
The prices per kWh are quite low but there's a monthly management charge of 3.70 and the "potencia" standing charge depends on how much power you're allowed to draw from your supply. In the OP's case they have a 6.5kW supply, ~28 amps at 230V, so 7.8 cents per day per kW would be 50.7 cents per day. A little less than the UK standing charge, but most UK homes have a supply capable of 60, 80 or 100A. 6.5kW wouldn't support most electric showers, for example, but would suffice for an immersion tank with stored HW.

My Spanish property is with Octopus. I’m on their sun club tariff which has a 24x7 unit rate (inc VAT) of 0.13c. I get a 50% discount though for use during peak solar hours (12-6pm daily).
