    @Spendless family birthdays definitely more often in the first three months of the year, then a fairly even spread through the rest of the months. All were told at the start of the year that they were getting the same amount each (£20) and my niece and nephew £10 as they're younger. I usually have a £30/40 balance at least, but last month and this month each had a birthday and I haven't topped it up. It's actually one of the least stressful pots for me which is good!

    Ahhh yes, assisting the adult children takes random forms but it's an investment in different ways. I'd do the same if it meant one of them getting their deposit back.

    I'm sat out in the garden with my budget looking at me so I really should work it out!
