Time scales for unique Probate code from HMRC

    No I didn't. I misunderstood the process and submitted probate application, then had to complete iht400 to get the unused allowances. I feared this would cause delays when forwarding the hmrc code to Probate but thankfully, it clearly didn't.

    We have been 9 months to get to this stage and fully expected it to be another few months before probate would be granted so its good to hear that this stage would appear to have quickened up.
