Trying to dismantle/remove old Dyson wall mount
I have an old wall mount from a Dyson handheld which I want to remove, but I can't work out how to dismantle it to get at the screws. It is mounted perpendicular to the wall, with "hidden" screws. Any ideas?

In the photo, to the right of the wall mount there seems to be the mounting bracket and, at the top of that there seems to be a removable plate. Does that plate slide or prise off, then allowing you to push the main body of the mount up and revealing the screws?
I assume you wish to remove the mount for reuse?

I can't find any way to slide or dislodge the "removable" plate. I've even tried wedging a screwdriver in at the side, but it won't budge

Which model of Dyson Handheld do you have?
It might be cheap to buy a suitable replacement wall mount:
If so, brute force could be the solution to revealing the screws to remove the current bracket.
If you take that route, then don't remove the current bracket until the replacement has arrived and confirmed suitable.
Not a perfect solution but, if the replacement bracket can be had for similar £11 cost to the one in the link I shared, it's hardly worth spending much time getting a good solution.

I don't have a record of the model number - I got rid of it more than 10 years ago. Also not looking to replace it.
Brute force is made a bit trickier due to the proximity of the plumbing, but at the moment I can't see too many other options
EDIT: looking at pictures online, I think it might have been the DC16 handheld

Hang on - we have a Dyson Handheld (not sure what model) and I never fixed the bracket. Let me see if the bracket looks similar to yours.

No - our bracket is nothing like that one you show.
I think brute force might be the solution, but don't just whack it with a hammer, use "intelligent" brute force. I'd start by forcing a screwdriver into that "removable plate" at the top, right and seeing what happens.
I cannot advise, and I take no liability for any damage or injury caused. It is up to you to assess the detail and undertake your own RAMS. Be sure to wear safety goggles and any other PPE - if it shatters the plastic may fire off in any direction.

Google image search seems to show it's a DC16 wall mount. Pull down and forward on the bottom of the mount?

Just tried pulling it down and forward - there's no movement at all

Yep wedging a long screwdriver into the right hand edge and hammering it down did the trick - thanks

Aaah - is it like this?
The third image seems to show there is a pull out locking slider to the underside on the right.
EDIT - cross-posted with the OP sorting the issue.
