Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions contained herein (these “Terms and Conditions”) shall govern this
Contest. By entering this Contest, you agree and accept to be bound by these Terms and
Conditions.
1. General Information
● The “Time For Malaysia Airlines Social Media Contest” (“Contest”) will run from 10
January 2026 to 8 February 2026 (“Contest Period”).
● The Contest is administered, organized, and run by Malaysia Airlines Berhad
("Malaysia Airlines").
2. Eligibility
● Any person who has fulfilled the criteria below is eligible to participate in this Contest
(“Participant”):
(a) aged 18 years of age and above; and
(b) residing in countries where participation in such Contests is legally permitted.
● Employees of Malaysia Aviation Group, its subsidiaries, affiliates, business partners
and/or agents including advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family
members are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Participate
To enter the Contest, Participants must, before 8 February 2026, 11:59PM:
● Follow @malaysiaairlines on [platform – Facebook].Internal Use
● Participate in the Contest activity as stated in the official Contest post (e.g., answer the
contest question, use the official hashtag, tag friends, etc.).
● Reshare the contest post on their Story/Feed and tag @malaysiaairlines .
4. Prizes
● One (1) winner will receive the Grand Prize:
- 1x Pair of Malaysia Airlines Business Class tickets to the Maldives
• Top one thousand (1,000) eligible participants will each receive one (1) Limited
Edition Malaysia Airlines gift.
● Malaysia Airlines is entitled to replace the prize with other prizes of similar value at any
time without prior notice.
● All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other expenses to attend
the match are the sole responsibility of the winners.
5. Winner Selection
● Winners will be selected by Malaysia Airlines based on predetermined criteria, including
correctness, creativity, and adherence to contest mechanics.
● Malaysia Airlines’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entertained regarding the
selection process.
6. Notification
● Winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform from 12
February 2026 onwards.
● Winners must respond within 2 days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to
respond may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner being selected.Internal Use
7. Verification
● Potential winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility, including age, residency,
and compliance with Contest rules.
● Failure to provide documentation within the timeframe may result in disqualification and
forfeiture of the prize.
8. Publicity
● By entering the Contest, Participants grant Malaysia Airlines the right to use their name,
likeness, and entry submission for promotional purposes, including but not limited to
social media, website, and marketing materials, without further compensation.
9. General Conditions
● Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any
time without prior notice.
● The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where
prohibited.
10. Release
● By participating, Participants release Malaysia Airlines and its affiliates, officers,
directors, employees, and agents from any liability related to participation in the Contest
or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.Internal Use
11. Governing Law
● The Contest is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
12. Disqualification
Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disqualify any Participant at its sole and absolute
discretion, including (but not limited to) if:
● The Participant is not eligible;
● The Participant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
● The entry is incomplete;
● The Participant breaches applicable laws, Contest rules, or engages in fraud, cheating,
or deception.
13. Final Decision
● Malaysia Airlines’ decision on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and
binding. No appeals or correspondence will be entertained.
14. Miscellaneous
● Malaysia Airlines shall not be liable for disruptions to the Contest caused by technical
issues or circumstances beyond its control.
● All rights and privileges herein granted to Malaysia Airlines are irrevocable and not
subject to rescission under any circumstances.
● These Terms and Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent provisions in other
promotional materials.
● The Terms and Conditions are written in English; translations (if any) are for
