The browser is presumably Samsung's own or Chrome (I'd need to check). I thought both had very strong anti-nasty built in?

It's easy to get this sort of thing. I got a very genuine looking AVG which is what I had at the time, came from twice clicking on embroidery pattern websites as in Egyptian, Indian.

The first time scared me because I didn't know how to get rid, it just remained but I closed the laptop down and went to bed.

Next morning nothing there. I checked for viruses the proper way and all clean and clear.

In this case I guess they look for likely older, less savey people who will panic.
