PC Graphics card required...

I've just bought a Dell Vostro 200 (with a few upgrades) and need to replace the on-board video card; nothing super-duper (play most games on a PS2) just mid-range I suppose.

Most importantly what I want to avoid is upgrading the PSU (if at all possible - it's a 300W currently).

After some research into a graphics card (budget is circa £50 - £70) I've come up with these:

256MB Leadtek 8600GT, PCI-E (x16), Mem 1400 MHz, GDDR3, GPU 540 MHz, 2x Dual Link DVI-I/HDTV
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=575785 - £67.45 exc. del

Inno3D 8600GT 256MB 128bit DDR3 DVI PCI-E Graphics Card
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/126974 - £53.47 inc. del

I'm edging towards the Inno3D but would appreciate any further advice, reviews on these or other recommendations.

Thanks in advance,

Llyllyll

get the cheaper one, both have ddr3 which makes most difference. they woulnt be great at crysis but nothing is grr, should play quake4 etc fine.

re psu upgrade, are you sure its possible? know a lot of dell desktops use weird bespoke parts and could only use dell bits, even the cpus has bespoke pinnouts at one point.

Dell rate their PSU's very conservatively, you have no fears with over-stressing it.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

I have the Inno 8600GT in one of my machines. Its very quiet and runs fine (COD4 at max settings is fine)

Thanks for all your replies. I've heard Dell rate their PSU's very conservatively but confirmation is always nice.

I'll go for the Inno then.
