Here is one example of the seller using identical photos……along with a number of other sellers .

The negative feedback on 9 other items sold isnt very positive in this case but not related to foil shavers .

I can only assume all to most of these Ebay sellers are all drop shippers after looking at Ebay sellers of Andis foil shavers .

Dont understand drop shippers 100% just yet but will find out more online ..some of the buyers negative feedback explains all you need to know in short .

You would be better off buying a Andis foil shaver either a fake or rebranded copys off Shein Temu or AliExpress direct rather than overpay via Ebay thinking you are getting the real thing …ebay is out of control its loaded with fakes .

I came to this conclusion as the whole Andis foil shaver Ebay market is 100% tainted .You just dont know what is real and what isnt although sellers negative feedback gives it away if you read enough of it .The sellers are all 100% in denial or just do not reply at all to negative buyer feedback.

No one cares less …..Ebay still coins it in so no prob exists… a few buyers have got refunds but thats often from not getting anything delivered.

Here is a Andis foil shaver on Shein (if links are allowed below)…. Kemei is the copy brand its a Andis copy for £8 to £10 and they also sell the blades and foils which would be needed at a later date .

Givern genuine Andis replacement blades and foils are £28 the Kemei £10 copys might be worth a try and then buy further blades?

Although Ive never used any of these chinese sellers a few youtube clips exist on Andis fakes and rebranded copys but I have yet to check them out .

I wouldn't trust fake electronics, we don't know if they meet any safety standards. But then there's someone on the energy board who swears by cheap knockoffs, so each to their own 🤷

Do you have a link to that thread regarding cheap knockoffs on the energy board ?

My point is if you were to buy off Ebay the chances are you would get a cheap knockoff no matter how much you spend or believe its the real thing .

At least on Shein you only pay £8-10 quid knowing its a knockoff or rebranded copy

Thats how bad Ebay is its full of drop shippers

Not a particular thread, sorry. The two specific things I can remember the member mentioning (in the context of minimising their electric usage from the grid) were to do with power tool battery packs, and power banks. However they have consistently encouraged people to look on AliExpress and similar for small electricals in general whenever they're mentioned.

Yes, I understand that (and understand the frustration!). It might be wise to see if it's available anywhere else that looks a bit more reliable.
