Green Saving Bonds ending
Hi folks,
My green Saving Bonds with the ns&I is ending soon and I was given three options.
I decided to switch half the money into a different ns&I product and have the rest payed back into my bank account. I filled in the form a few days ago and I expected an email to confirm the details but I haven't received one.
My question is should I have had some kind of confirmation of my decision or is it just a case of waiting until the maturity date?

I can't just remember what happened when I last gave maturity instructions for an NS&I fixed product - but I can't see that I have any email about it. But I recently cashed in some PBs and got a confirmation screen, but it also showed the details in my PB account - I didn't get an email confirmation.
If you log in to your NS&I account and to the green bond page, does it not have something there under maturity options? Or maybe a secure message?

if you login to your ns&i account and go to your green bonds it clearly displays the maturity option you currently have selected
if you don’t have a online account set up I would give them a ring and just ask them to confirm they have acted on your instructions
don’t wait until it’s too late, if they haven’t had your instructions they just take it upon themselves and fix for another three years!!0
