Otherwise personally it seems like a good result. The performance of the IT has been poor, and this tender offer represents a 35% improvement on the share price 12 months ago, so glad I cut and ran.

I read somewhere cheques were coming out on 21st May. Hopefully these cheques go into ones ISA cash account for those with wrappers rather than being sent out?

It says that Crest accounts will be credited i.e. the money will be sent electronically to your broker so, yes. Only certificated shareholders will be sent cheques.

"CREST Settlement Date: payments through CREST made and CREST accounts settled for tendered Shares. Cheques for certificated Shareholders despatched."

Fine for that result, but in general I wouldn't count Boaz Weinstein at Saba as a genius. He seems to be interested only in trading the margin of buying and eliminating discount, which is a short term deal, rather than appreciating the quality of the investment potentially longer term. Many investors might prefer something that goes up for most of a longer time, rather than just once.

I do not like Saba tactics, but I was becoming a bit disillusioned with this trust anyway .
