Adidas returns on faulty limited stock & other customers treated differently

II returned a shirt that I had previously ordered as the same size and design just different colour It was clearly a size bigger despite the labelling. I was asked to provide photos for an 'investigation' Is limited stock (oasis live 25) so no option to send another onnsame size or even a smaller size. Refunds was fine but they then closed the case as treated as returned. I have seen on social media other fans who received shirts they labeled as blue but are white given a discount voucher as an apology as they were also unable to get a replacement. Adidas is basically chat bot emails. You het a different person's reply every time if they take a few days they close the case automatically. Then they ask you to explain it again you end with amout 20 email chains they are too lazy to re re read and they call me the wrong name and don't even say sorry and ignore me when I ask for a manger. They will not offer me the discount despite 3 months of emails.

Do they have to offer anything else if they cannot supply a replacement? Do they not have to treat me the same especially after their embarrassing poor follow up?

They don’t have to treat you the same as others in terms of good will (they aren’t I assume but the exception to that is discrimination based on characteristics protected by law).

You could try to claim loss of a bargain by buying elsewhere and claim the difference.

Question is why would you want a voucher to buy from them again if their service is so bad?

Super hard to read, but are you saying you received a full refund? What did you want - a refund + discount on another purchase?

I don't think giving you a discount voucher would be equivalent to the discount voucher given to others.

AIUI, you ordered a shirt and received a shirt of the incorrect size. It was not possible to exchange the shirt received for one of the correct size. You returned the shirt and received a refund. If you kept the shirt and received a discount voucher, you would still be left with a shirt that did not fit.

The customers with the incorrect colour had a shirt that fitted. If an individual ordered a blue shirt but received a white shirt, it is a viable option to accept the white shirt plus discount voucher as an alternative to returning the shirt and receiving a refund.
