Blackhorse finance Voluntary termination
Hi all,
I took out a PCP agreement with Black Horse Finance in April 2024 and I’ve had no issues at all with the car, the repayments, or BHF. I moved abroad in December 2025 and, although I’m no longer using the car, I didn’t want to damage my credit score, so I’ve continued paying as normal. I’ve never been in arrears, and the car is serviced and MOT’d (it’s currently sitting on my drive in the UK).
I’m now trying to arrange a voluntary termination, but because I’m overseas (Asia) I’m struggling to contact BHF. I can’t find a contact email address and I can’t call from my current location.
My settlement figure suggests I still owe around £1,500 (before the balloon payment), and I need confirmation from BHF of the date when my payments will meet the VT threshold.
My questions are:
- Does anyone have a working email address for Black Horse Finance?
- If I VT and there is still an amount outstanding, can that be paid via a payment plan without negatively impacting my credit score (assuming payments are made on time)?
- I’m around 15,000 miles under the mileage limit. Is any allowance/credit usually given for being under the agreed mileage?
Thanks in advance.

Why can't you phone from Asia?
Sure, there's a time difference, but that's not insurmountable. Asia ranges from GMT+2 (Turkey, Israel, etc) to GMT+9 (S.Korea, Japan), so 10am is noon to 7pm.
Sure, there's international call costs, but there's many other ways to call internationally far cheaper than headline tariffs using a voip app or the like (the one thing Skype was good at!).1 -
2. Pretty sure you'll have to pay any sum outstanding in full at the time.
3. No

I'm in Myanmar. Calling a UK premium number is not an option, especially when it takes so long to answer or be put through to the correct dept. There doesn't appear to be any other way than call or write a physical letter.

Is this the number - 0344 824 8888 ?
Not a premium rate number.

You have an internet connection. Install a voip app.
0344 is charged the same as a normal 01-/02- landline number.0
