British Gas Lite - how do you get your money back?

We are a small company who have been chasing British Gas Lite for a refund since the 26th November - they promised it would be paid within 7 to 10 days. Dispute chasing on practically a daily basis for this money - we have been given excuse after excuse as to why it could not be paid - they needed another meter read, although they'd been given one 5 days before, we owed £19 on another account (which would have been paid by direct debit) so they couldn't send the refund. Broken promises about call backs - had an email from the complaint handler confirming it would absolutely be paid on or before the 2nd February - now promised call backs from him which he never makes. I have been on their 'chat' on an hourly basis - Monday promised a call by end of day - didn't happen! Tuesday - call as soon as he is at his desk, then within 20 minutes, then definitely by the end of day - still didn't happen. Promised again today - I will be called by the end of day - I'm not holding my breath. They are truly the absolute worse company I have ever dealt with - the delayed refund is causing our company severe financial distress - BUT THEY DO NOT CARE - it's almost like a game to them - how long can they hold onto money that isn't theirs.
