Paragon Bank - can't see all accounts

I have had a number of accounts with Paragon over the years. It seems that I can't see details of all my "closed" accounts (typically these were 1 year non-ISA bonds). Why ??

It's only rock 'n' roll ...

I'd turn the question round the other way and ask why should there be an expectation of banks showing details of closed accounts? I can't think of any of mine that do.

I have noticed that some providers will show all closed accounts, whilst others will just show closed accounts for a certain time period and then they drop out. I am guessing Paragon must be in the latter category. For some providers accounts disappear as soon as they are closed, so I always download an up to date statement before closing.

It's the same with just about all my closed accounts with any provider, they drop off the app or website immediately.

Some institutions provide a closing statement in the post.

The best you can hope for is the annual summary of interest being available.

Skipton show closed accounts and allow generation of annual (tax year) interest amounts for open and closed accounts, one of the few automation / self-service aspects that I consider Skipton to be superior in…

I can see my closed accounts, by pressing the "closed accounts" button...

You say that you can't see details of all of your closed accounts. Does that mean that you can see some?

How long have these accounts been closed? I don't know that I'd expect them to remain visible indefinitely.

You can only view closed accounts with Paragon for a year after you close the account.

    From https://www.paragonbank.co.uk/blog/online-savings-account-benefits

"You can log in and view your closed accounts with us for up to a year after closure"

I find Paragon to be excellent in all respects. Quick to open accounts, easy to do transfers, top paying rates all the time, very accessible platform, accounts can be easily viewed and their admin is superb. Their admin team were incredibly helpful in helping me deal with an ISA transfer mess up by a big bank (who were totally unhelpful in resolving their mistake). Paragon also answer the phone quickly - no AI bot who doesn't understand the term ISA - and are very efficient.

Hope you can view your closed accounts soon!
