DWP RECOVERY FROM ESTATE DEBT MANAGEMENT FOR A PERSON WHO HAS DIED
Comments

We’re Pension Credit advised that she had gone in to a nursing home?

Was she self funded in the home? In which case, she would have not been entitled to the pension credit element.
Do check everything DWP have told you. Are their figures and dates correct. Can you or whomever looked after their finances check this.
Was she in an assessed income period at the time?
Obviously, this needs to be queried by the executor.
