Car Tax Direct Debit change
Hi there
I want to change my car tax direct debit from 6 monthly to annually. I can see from the DVLA website that I need to cancel my direct debit at the bank but how to do know when and how to set a new one up? Will I get sent a new notification to pay the tax (as don't currently get one) or will I have to try to remember? I don't want to accidentally not pay!

Cancel the DD.
When the expiry of the tax you've paid for comes around, you'll get a V11 reminder.
Set a new DD up.
They don't send V11s if there's a DD in place.2 -
I would just tax it annually by card when the V11 comes through the door and keep a note on your calendar.
