Deleting Temporary Internet Files

I have a computer running windows 98 2nd ed and every time when i try to delete temporary internet files my computer freezes and does not delete them.Can anyone recommend a free programme that i can use to do this or any other method.Thanks.

Thanks i have just tried disk cleanup but the same thing happens that it comes up with program not responding when i ctrl+alt+del.0

will delete them all for you , just untick the box that tries to install yahoo toolbar while installingEx forum ambassador
