Halo capsule vacuum cleaner
Hi Everyone,
I wondered if anyone has had a problem with Halo Appliances? I recently ordered a capsule vacuum cleaner with the expectation that the delivery would be quite quick (their website states all orders are dispatched within 1-2 days).
After a week of not hearing anything, I have made numerous calls, but each time you get a recorded message saying all their agents are busy dealing with other calls. It says for a quick response it's best to e-mail, which I did. 4 days later I have not received any response whatsoever, so I've now raised this with my bank.
After seeing their big advertising campaign on mainstream TV I presumed they were a legitimate and trustworthy company.
Has anyone had any dealings with them? Thanks in advance.

It's possible that after a big advertising campaign they are overwhelmed with orders. Great for them if that's the case, but they may be playing catch-up with production, manufacturing, shipping, etc.
It is only 11 days after you ordered and I presume that 4 of those were weekend days, so I'd give it a bit of time yet.

Likely to be premature at this stage, at least for a 'goods not received' chargeback.

Seems to be a fairly typical experience....https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.capsuleclean.com

Thank you all for your replies.
No I've not been advised of any delivery date. Just checked Trustpilot as suggested by Woodstok2000. Not looking good. Since December there are 30 odd negative reviews with most saying they have not received their hoover. Some have been waiting several weeks. All are having the same problem as me, with not being able to get through on the phone and e-mails being ignored. My fault for not checking Trustpilot first. Big lesson learned!
It may be that they are overwhelmed as a result of a big advertising push, but just answer the phone or reply to e-mail and explain.
I've instigated chargebank now with my credit card company and have e-mailed Halo again to cancel my order.
Will be sticking Dyson now. My old one that just packed up was about 7/8 years old.

I hope the CC are not aware you have cancelled with Halo, or you have technically lost the right to non receipt of goods.
If they take it forward on that basis & company reject stating you cancelled. You have lost the chargeback, as you only get one chance.
